Congressional Candidate Michael Griffie & State Rep. Tyrone Carter To Host Town Hall at River Rouge High School
RIVER ROUGE, MI – Democratic Candidate for Congress in the 13th District, Michael Griffie is co-hosting a Town Hall for voters with State Representative Tyrone Carter of the 6th House District. Carter has previously endorsed Michael Griffie. The event will be moderated by Alyssa McMurty of the Gongwer News Service.
“This event is going to be a great chance to showcase my campaign’s plans to ensure that the American Dream is available to EVERYONE,” said Michael Griffie, “and we’re going to hit on the issues that matter most to voters: Universal Pre-K for EVERY child, protecting the right to vote, and ending the gun violence epidemic in America.”
The event is a part of the Griffie Campaign’s “Go With Griff: 20 Communities in 20 Days Series” which will bring Michael Griffie to communities all across the 13th Congressional District.
The Town Hall will take place on Monday, June 13th at River Rouge High School Auditorium (1460 Coolidge Hwy, River Rouge, MI 48218) starting at 7:00 PM and going until 8:30 PM.
Michael Griffie is building significant momentum all across the 13th District and this Town Hall in River Rouge is yet another opportunity for him to get in front of voters and make his winning case on why he’s the best candidate for the job.
“Unlike other candidates in this race I’m not a self-funding millionaire or career politician,” Griffie added, “so we’re going to win this campaign on the ground, talking to voters, and ensuring that we get our message out to the people.”
